South Bank Engineering University Technical College manages its own admissions and accepts applications from students applying to join Year 10 and Year 12 for entry in September.

Applications should be made directly by completing the form for the relevant year group.

Year 10 applications

Entry to Year 10 is non selective, although applicants self-select by interest or aptitude in one of the STEM subjects.

On application, you are invited into the school to meet the Principal so that we may find out more about you and your aspirations for the future. Parent/carers must also attend this meeting. Once your have accepted a place, this is followed up by a series of events to support your transition to the school.

YEAR 10 APPLICATION


Year 12 applications

For entry to Year 12, students must meet the minimum entry criteria for Level 2 courses.

On application, you are invited to an interview with a member of our Senior Leadership Team so that we are able to ascertain your predicted grades and aspirations for the future. 

Once you have accepted your place, you will be invited to a series of immersion and taster sessions to experience a flavour of UTC life.

As we are oversubscribed, it is unlikely that a space will become available.  However, please complete the ‘In-Year Application form’ and we will get in touch with you.
